ABA looking for officials

Published on May 7, 2007 under American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release

With the continued growth of teams in the ABA, Tom Chichester, ABA Director of Officials, will be in search throughout the summer for experienced officials who are interested to be a part of his current staff of ABA officials. The current ABA staff is a very dedicated group of excellent officials that are located throughout the country and Canada. Much of the staff is composed of NCAA Div I caliber officials. Over the past seven years, the ABA has provided an enormous amount of opportunities for many officials to work and improve upon their officiating skills.

All ABA officials love the challenge of working some of the finest and most exciting basketball games being played anywhere in the world...ABA basketball is electrifying!

If you are interest in being an ABA official, please contact Tom Chichester at tcrefaba@frontiernet.net. Please include your credentials (officiating bio sheet) and your contact information. Or visit www.abalive.com.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
