
ABA Entertainment Announces Talent Competition

Miami Beach, FL. Angela Rizzi, Vice President of ABA Entertainment, today announced plans for the SHOOTING STARZ Talent Competition that will begin in January. According to Ms. Rizzi, "SHOOTING STARZ is a musical talent competition, in search of local, emerging talent to be featured performers with Starz in Motion and other entertainment opportunities. Genres of music include Pop, R & B, Reggae, Latin, Country and Rock. We plan to have events at ABA games in a variety of cities."
Here's the way it works:
* Applicants will have the opportunity to pre-register for the competition by submitting entries by mail or online to www.starzinmotion.com. * Contestants will audition by performing a pre-selected cover song at the preliminary competition, judged by our celebrity judges. * Three contestants will be selected to compete in the competition for that city to be held at a local ABA game. * During the competition, to be held at halftime during the game, the audience will vote for the best of the 3 performances. * Winners will be posted on the Starz in Motion website with a photo and clip of their music. * Online voting will take place at www.starzinmotion.com to determine the top 3 finalists. * The 3 finalists will be invited to perform at the ABA Final Four, all expenses paid. * The prizes will include a performance contract with Starz in Motion, prize packages from sponsors, a performance showcase in front of industry executives, all expenses paid. * The initial competition will be held at Simon Mall Properties and at ABA games.
Ms. Rizzi added, "We are pleased to be working with Simon Mall Properties, Radio One, 1st Debit Visa as well as Black Press, Sister2Sister, Icon, JET, MTV Key Players, the Today Show and a variety of others to make this effort a success and to help identify the fabulous talent that is yet undiscovered. We have projected events for Miami, Atlanta, Richmond, Charlotte, Baltimore, New York, Toledo, Louisville, Indianapolis, Seattle/Tacoma, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Richmond.
