Old Glory DC News Release
Dear Old Glory DC Fan
I would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for your loyal support to our club and to our players.
Your passion and commitment for the OGDC colors have been pillars to creating a nice atmosphere at our home games at Segra Field, despite the challenging past climate conditions and calendar festivities.
We are now at the mid-point of our challenging rugby season and more than ever we need you to continue with your unwavering support. Weather is getting much nicer in the DMV area and we are working relentlessly to improve Fan activations at the Stadium.
As you may have noticed, we have implemented several concourse modifications relative to last season that have strengthened the menu of entertainment options prior and after the games. Among those improvements we are now offering:
Free Parking + Tailgating
Food Trucks with variety of menu alternatives
Live Music Band and DJ
Kids Zone with inflatables and Free Face Painting
Ticket Promotions
Beer tent as well as mobile beer vendors in the stands
Competitive College and High School matches as Curtain Raisers
Half Time Competitions and T-shirt tossing
Upgraded Merchandise Tent + Players photo signing
This Saturday we are playing against Utah Warriors at 3PM. Utah is one of the strongest teams in the Western Conference and our players would like to have your loud chanting coming down from the stands. It is going to be a great challenge; but the team is more than ready to face it.
Together with the entire staff we would like to see you at Segra. Please join us, show your commitment to our boys.
Thank you
Marcelo P. Blanco
