Owatonna Express News Release

On behalf of all of the Express players, staff, coaches and board, I would like to wish you and your family a very happy holiday season!

We have had a very successful season on and off the ice this year. The Express is currently in first place and the players have been very busy in the community. We are excited in the direction the team is headed under our new coach and general manager, Chuck Linkenheld, and the addition of two new sales people, Jon Quinlivan and Brooke Woitas. They have all been working hard to continually increase sales and sponsorships but, as a team,

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, alongwith ticket sales, sponsorships, merchandise, and foodsales, we are very dependent on contributions from our supporters, of which we hope to sustain from year to year to help insure the future of our team. We have a goal this year of $15,000 to help pay for new equipment, ice time, and travel, along with many other expenses. As a community supported team, contributions are very important to maintain continued success, which means we get to send more and more young men off to college year after year, and continue to have junior hockey in Owatonna for all to enjoy.

I hope that you will consider a tax-deductible contribution this year, and support our young men as they work hard and play hard to build a future for themselves and for our community.

Sincerely,

Bill Stewart

President of the Board
