
"This Week in the AFL" returns for 2005 season

NEW YORK â The Arena Football League today announced the return of "This Week in the AFL," a weekly radio program on Sports Byline USA, for the 2005 season. The show kicks off tonight at 9 p.m. ET. Scheduled guests include AFL Commissioner DAVID BAKER, Colorado Crush OS DAMIAN HARRELL and AFL fantasy expert NATE BOUDREAUX.
The one-hour program is scheduled to air every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET throughout the AFL season. The show will be replayed again each Friday at 10 a.m. ET and Saturday at 11 a.m. ET. The final program will air the week following ArenaBowl XIX.
"This Week in the AFL" airs on Sports Byline USA's network of affiliates, Sirius Satellite Radio (Channel 122), more than 500 worldwide affiliates of the American Forces Radio Network, various airlines as an in-flight audio option, throughout Canada and on Radio New Zealand. The program will also be accessible online through AFLNet at www.arenafootball.com.
"The second year of âThis Week in the AFL' on Sports Byline radio will build the momentum the show gained in its first year," said MARC LOWITZ, President of The AFL Network. "The show is a great forum allowing our fans to get even more in-depth information and insight about their favorite players, coaches and teams."
Hosted by San Francisco native and veteran sports broadcaster LARRY KRUEGER, "This Week in the AFL" will include a recap of the previous and upcoming week's games, focused match-ups, an AFL fantasy segment, and interviews with players, coaches and other AFL personalities.
