August 21, 2015 - West Coast League (WCL)
Victoria HabourCats News Release
The Victoria HarbourCats organization would like to congratulate Joe Meggs for taking a new position, and wish him all the best. Joe, a former UW player and professional player in the Dodgers organization, was a tremendous ambassador for our organization, for the West Coast League, for the University of Washington, and his tremendous family while working for the HarbourCats this past season as an assistant coach.
Joe Meggs is now Director of Operations for the University of Washington Baseball Program, one of the best programs in college baseball.
"Joe made people better, and was a class person who exemplifies what our organization strives to be every day," said General Manager Jim Swanson. "He was integral in team and individual successes this season, and he'll be a big part of helping Huskies Baseball remain one of the best places for players to play collegiate baseball."
The HarbourCats wish him all success moving forward, and celebrate this news as yet another WCL alum advancing in the game of baseball.
