WHITE PLAINS, February 13, 2015 - The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the New York Knickerbockers, announced today the acquisition of center Jordan Bachynski and guard Durrell Summers.

Bachynski, 7-2, 250 pounds, most recently played for the EskiÅŸehir Basket of the Turkish Basketball League. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Bachynski played four years for the Arizona State Sun Devils where he set the Pacific-12 Conference record for career blocked shots with 314 in 122 games.

Summers, 6-5, 205 pounds out of Michigan State University, was acquired via the available player pool. He last played for the Reno Bighorns, the Sacramento Kings' NBA D-League affiliate. In 23 games for the Bighorns, Summers averaged 10 points and 3.3 rebounds over 21.3 minutes.

Westchester also announced the release of forward Marcus Ginyard and guard Robert Vaden, both due to season ending injuries.

The Westchester Knicks are back in action against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Westchester County Center. The game will be broadcast on MSG+2 and AM 1230 WFAS.
