Mavericks Sign Collin Circelli and Dallas Ehrhardt

Independence, Missouri - July 17, 2014 -- The Missouri Mavericks announced Thursday afternoon that they have signed center Collin Circelli and defenseman Dallas Ehrhardt to standard player contracts for the 2014-15 season, bringing the current roster count to ten players.

Collin Circelli is a seasoned center from Oshawa, Ontario and former teammate of Missouri Mavericks forward, Sebastien Thinel (2007-2010, Odessa Jackalopes- CHL). Circelli has scored 85 goals and tallied 85 assists through 212 professional career games.

"Circelli is a proven goal-scorer who will help put the puck in the net for the Mavs this season," said Richard Matvichuk, Missouri Mavericks Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations. "He is a very good addition to our power play and we are very happy to bring him and his experience into the Mavericks' lineup."

Dallas Ehrhardt, 21, spent the majority of the 2013-14 season with the Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League. The 6'4", 226lb defenseman from Calgary, Alberta racked up 7 points and 104 penalty minutes through 47 regular season games.

"Dallas is a big strong kid," said Matvichuk of the young defenseman, "he uses his size and strength to his advantage, and is going to be a very physical player for us this season that will also benefit our penalty kill. I've worked with Dallas before, and look forward to having him on the roster again."
