Piasa Announce Open Tryouts

Glen Carbon, IL - Are you one of the top indoor soccer players in the St. Louis metropolitan area? Do you want to prove it on the professional level? If you answered yes, then come show your skills at the upcoming tryouts for the Illinois Piasa.

Illinois Piasa of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) is holding open tryouts for their upcoming season on Saturday, August 24 from 8:00-10:00 am, and on Sunday, August 25 from 7:00-9:00 pm, at Piasa's new home, The Field Sports Complex, 4141 State Route 111, Pontoon Beach, Illinois.

Tryouts are open to male soccer players age 18 years and older. College players with remaining eligibility are not permitted in the tryout as per NCAA rules and regulations. Current professional players must have a letter of release from their current club in order to participate.

Every player attending will receive an Illinois Piasa t-shirt as part of their registration. Players are encouraged to show up 30 minutes early to register and warm-up, and must wear indoor soccer shoes or "turf" shoes, outdoor soccer shoes will not be allowed. Registration is $30 per player if pre-paid before August 21, or $40 the day of tryouts. Space is limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
