Chill To Release Former Blue Devil
May 5, 2008 - International Basketball League (IBL)
Edmonton Chill News Release
The Edmonton Chill announced today that they have decided to release former Duke University Blue Devil Sean Dockery. The 6'2" point guard had been recovering from a knee injury he suffered while playing this past winter. Sean was rehabbing in his hometown of Chicago and had been slated to join the club when the Chill traveled to the Chicago area for their seven-game road trip in June.
"It came down to one thing;" Chill Asst. GM Nick Padow said, "Rashaun Broadus. Anyone who plays at BYU obviously has a high talent level, but he has just blown all of us away and we just don't see a need for another starter-type guard."
