Ottawa 67's News Release
(Ottawa ON.): The Ottawa 67's today announced the acquisition of goaltender Shayne Campbell and the signing of free agent import defenceman Adam Sedlak. To make room for the newcomers, the team released import forward Robert Farmer and defenceman Evan Accettura.
Campbell's rights were picked-up from Sarnia in exchange for an 8th round pick in next May's OHL Priority Selection Draft. Sedlak, who cleared OHL waivers last week, was with the Peterborough Petes last season and recently attended the Ottawa Senators rookie camp. He'll be in action this weekend when the 67's open their home season against the Oshawa Generals this Friday night at 7:30. A limited number of tickets for that game are still available. The 67's will then host Canada's top-ranked junior team, the Mississauga St. Mike's Majors, on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 pm. Great seats for that game are available in most sections.
