30 QMJHLers on November Players to Watch List

Montreal, QC - The NHL Central Scouting released a November update to its first list of the season featuring some of the top prospects to watch ahead of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
In total, 30 QMJHL players have already garnered the attention of scouting experts up to this point. Among that group, forward Nathan Gaucher (Quebec) and defensemen Tristan Luneau (Gatineau) as well as Maveric Lamoureux (Drummondville) each received an "A" rating as potential first-round selections.
The only three QMJHL goaltenders whose names appear on November's list are once again Vincent Filion (Moncton), Charles-Edward Gravel (Blainville-Boisbriand) and Ivan Zhigalov (Sherbrooke).
The list also includes seven prospects chosen at the CHL Import Draft who are currently playing in the Q. These Europeans are: Maxim Barbashev (Moncton), Daniil Bourash (Rouyn-Noranda), Lorenzo Canonica (Shawinigan), Jakub Hujer (Rouyn-Noranda), Vsevolod Komarov (Quebec), David Spacek (Sherbrooke) and Zhigalov.
With four of their players named by the NHL Central Scouting, the Gatineau Olympiques and Moncton Wildcats lead all QMJHL franchises in terms of listed prospects. Just behind them are the Halifax Mooseheads and the Sherbrooke Phoenix, whose organizations have three of their own players on the list.
It is to be noted that players with an "A" rating are projected as first round picks, players with a "B" rating are projected as second or third round selections, while players receiving a "C" rating are candidates for rounds four through six.
