Amsterdam Mohawks News Release
Three former Amsterdam Mohawks were invited to play in the prestigious Arizona Fall League starting in October. The Arizona Fall League features many of the top minor league prospects in baseball and is loaded with future major leaguers.
Former Mohawks Invited to Arizona Fall League
Joe Sclafani (2009 Mohawks)- 2B/SS - attended Dartmouth College and is currently playing AAA baseball for the Houston Astros where he is hitting .343
Luke Maile (2010-11 Mohawks)- C - attended the University of Kentucky and is currently playing AA ball in the Tampa Bay Rays organization
Dan Gamache (2009 Mohawks)- 2B- attended Auburn University and is currently playing AA ball for the Pittsburgh Pirates
