
23-Player Rosters Announced for July 24 Leagues Cup Matches in Houston and Salt Lake City

NEW YORK AND MEXICO CITY - While the inaugural edition of Leagues Cup will kick off tonight, the 23-man rosters for the Houston and Salt Lake City matches on Wednesday, July 24 were announced today, in anticipation of Houston Dynamo, Club América, Real Salt Lake and Tigres UANL's participation in this new annual competition between the two top soccer leagues in North America.

The third game of the opening round of the tournament will feature Houston Dynamo and its Central American stars Romell Quioto and Alberth Elis. Houston will host the current Campeon de Campeones champions, Club América, featuring league MVP Guido Rodriguez and best goalkeeper AgustÃn MarchesÃn, coached by Miguel Herrera at BBVA Stadium in Houston (8:30 p.m. ET).

The fourth and final game of the Leagues Cup opening round will feature Albert Rusnak and Jefferson Savarino representing Real Salt Lake. Tigres UANL will travel with goalscorer André-Pierre Gignac, goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman and are coached by legendary Ricardo Ferretti. The game is scheduled for Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah on July 24 (10:30 p.m. ET).

Game Notes for Real Salt Lake vs. Tigres UANL are available here. Leagues Cup games will be broadcast on TUDN and ESPN in the United States and on TSN and TVA Sports in Canada. Televisa will air the event in Mexico on TUDN, Canal 5 and Nu9ve.
Leagues Cup is sanctioned by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf).
