2023 NECBL All-Star Game to Reach 75 Million Households Nationally
July 13, 2023 - New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) News Release
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - For the first time in league history, the marquee event of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL) season will be broadcast across the nation.
The 2023 NECBL All-Star Game, presented by Metro Credit Union, will be airing in tape delay format in over 75 million TV households, including on NESN, home of the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. Other networks that will broadcast the game include AT&T Sports Network, MASN TV, Cox YurView, Stadium Network and more.
"This is a very exciting opportunity for the NECBL to have our brand on televisions in millions of homes across the country," said Craig Kaufman, Director of Communications and Broadcasting. "Many of the Regional Sports Networks that will carry this event are the homes of Major League Baseball teams, so it's great to introduce our future big leaguers to fans in these markets."
Scheduled for Sunday, July 23rd, the 2023 All-Star Game will be hosted by the North Shore Navigators at historic Fraser Field in Lynn, Massachusetts. Tickets for the event are $7 and are on sale now.
The All-Star game, along with the Home Run Derby, which will take place earlier in the day, will be broadcast live, free-of-charge on the NECBL Network, powered by BlueFrame Technology.
John Brickley from ESPN's Baseball Tonight will provide the game's play by play. He will be joined in the booth by our All-Star broadcasters, selected as always by a vote of their colleagues.
For fans in the New England area, the game will be broadcast on NESN on Saturday, July 29 and Monday July 31 at 1:00 PM. It will also be shown on NESN Plus on July 29th at 7:00 PM and July 30th at 5:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
The following networks have been confirmed to broadcast the 2023 NECBL All-Star Game. Additional affiliates may be added - check your local listings for broadcast information on your local stations.
