2022 MLR Draft Picks - Welcome Doyle and William

On Thursday (8/18), the MLR hosted their annual Collegiate Draft, providing an avenue for promising College rugby players into a professional league.
With picks in the 1st and 3rd Rounds, we selected two exciting forwards, Doyle Hedgepeth and William Whiteside.
Doyle Hedgepeth - 1st Round (13th Pick)
Doyle is a powerful prop who joins us from Queens University in Charlotte.
Originally from South Carolina, he's also played for USA Rugby South and USA Rugby Juniors U23. We can't wait to see him in NY colors.
William Whiteside - 3rd Round (29th Pick)
William is a dynamic prop who joins us from Lindenwood University in St. Charles.
Originally from Piedmont, California, we look forward to welcoming him to the Empire State!
