
2022 IFL Hall of Fame Nominations Announced

The IFL Hall of Fame is a celebration of individuals that were outstanding in their roles. The Hall of Fame focuses on abilities and accomplishments on the field of play as well as the example set outside of football. The Hall of Fame also recognizes an individual's use of the IFL as a platform to further their success both on and off the field.
Nate Fluit (Sioux Falls Storm)
Defensive Lineman for the Sioux Falls Storm from 2003-2007. Fluit was a two-time All-League Selection and was named UIF Defensive Player of the Year in 2006. In Storm history, Fluit ranks 10th all-time in tackles (249.5), second in sacks (62.5) and first in blocked kicks (23). Fluit's #93 jersey is currently retired by the Storm.
Charlie Bosselman (Nebraska Danger)
Charlie has been a key part of the development of the IFL. Charlie brought the Nebraska Danger to a small city in Grand Island, NE and quickly became a force. During his nine years as owner of the Danger, Nebraska made the playoffs seven times while competing in the Conference Championship all seven times, while making it to the United Bowl three times. He boasted 30 All-IFL selections during those nine years. Charlie served on many IFL committees through his time. He served on the Executive Committee for six years as well as being the Executive Chair for three of those years. The team won Franchise of the Year in 2013 and Charlie was selected Executive of the Year in 2014 by his peers. Charlie currently serves has the Chairman and CEO of his family's company, Bosselman Enterprises.
Houston Lillard (Tri-Cities Fever)
Quarterback for the Tri-Cities Fever. Lillard is a two-time All-IFL Selection (2011, 2012). He led the Fever to consecutive Intense Conference Championships during the 2011 and 2012 season. For his career, Lillard ranks third in IFL history with 208 passing touchdowns, and 855 completions, he ranks fourth all-time with 9,102 passing yards.
Willie Copeland (Green Bay Blizzard, Colorado Ice, Cedar Rapids Titans)
Quarterback for the Green Bay Blizzard, Cedar Rapids Titans and Colorado Ice/Crush. As a member of the Ice, Copeland was named the 2014 IFL MVP. During that season, he led the Ice to a 10-4 record and the Intense Conference Championship game. He was also a First-Team All-IFL selection in 2014. For his career, Copeland ranks third all-time in IFL history in passing yards (9,284) and fourth all-time in passing touchdowns (194).
Carl Sims (Billings, Sioux Falls, Green Bay, Cedar Rapids, Spokane)
Wide Receiver for Bloomington, Billings Outlaws, Sioux City, Sioux Falls, Cedar Rapids, Billings Wolves, Green Bay, Spokane, and Nebraska. Joining the IFL in its debut season, Carl Sims became one of the IFL's most prolific Wide Receivers during his nine year IFL career. Sims finished his career with 370 receptions, 5,077 yards and 112 touchdowns. His 5,077 receiving yards ranked second upon retirement while his 112 receiving touchdowns ranked third. Sims was a First Team All-IFL selection in 2012 and 2013. Sims passed away in 2017.
Parker Douglass (Sioux Falls Storm)
Kicker for the Sioux Falls Storm spanning from 2009 to 2021. Arguably the greatest kicker in IFL history, Douglass is a six-time United Bowl Champion. Parker is IFL's All-Time Leader in career points with 896. He is all-time IFL leader with 104 made field goals and 584 made PATs. He was an All-League selection during the 2013 and 2014 IFL seasons and finished his career with a 55.3% conversion percentage on field goal attempts and 90% conversion percentage on PATs.
Brady Roland (Iowa Barnstormers)
Brady was one of the League's most prolific receivers. In his two-year career in the IFL, Roland has caught 148 passes for 1,749 yards and 36 touchdowns. Following both seasons, Roland was named as an All-IFL selection, being named to the First Team in 2016. In 2017 Roland had his best season yet, winning the league's receiving touchdown title with 22 and racking up 56.9 yards per game. During his fourth season with the Barnstormers he earned back-to-back First Team All-IFL spots in 2016 and 2017, and looked to be one of Iowa's most notable signings for the 2018 season.
Michael Bazemore (Billings, Sioux Falls)
Defensive Lineman for the Billings Outlaws and the Sioux Falls Storm.Bazemore is a three-time United Bowl Champion (2009-2011). He is a two-time All-IFL team selection. During his IFL career, Bazemore registered 163 tackles, 24 sacks, two interceptions, and five forced fumbles. After the IFL, Bazemore earned his Graduate Degree and is now the Athletic Director at Montana State University.
Michael Eby (Billings Outlaws, Wyoming Cavalry, Colorado Ice)
Over his six year iFL career, Eby played defensive back for the Billings Outlaws, Wyoming Cavalry, and Colorado Ice. In 2009, while a member of the Outlaws, Eby was named Defensive Rookie of the Year and was selected Second Team All-IFL. For his career, Eby ranks fourth all-time in IFL history with 400 tackles and 28 interceptions.
Adam Shackleford (Tri-Cities Fever, Spokane Empire)
Shackleford coached the Tri-Cities Fever from 2010-2015. In that span, Shackleford led the Fever to five playoff appearances, two conference titles and two United Bowl Championship appearances. In 2013, coach Shackleford earned his landmark 100th career win. In 2016, he was hired in Spokane as Head Coach of the Empire for two seasons. He led the team to a Conference title and a United Bowl Championship appearance.
Retiring from coaching in 2019, Shackleford had a career record of 151-49. He ranks third all-time in the IFL for wins as a Head Coach. Also, he is the only head coach in IFL history to take tw organizations to the United Bowl.
Shackleford, now retired from coaching, is working from his home in Spokane as the Director of Player Personnel and Senior Offensive Consultant for the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League.
