
2008 Mohawks LHP Darnell Makes 1st Major League Start Tonight

2008 Amsterdam Mohawks left handed pitcher Logan Darnell will be making his first Major League start tonight for the Minnesota Twins as they face the Chicago White Sox. Darnell played for the University of Kentucky and was a 6th round pick in the 2010 draft. He features a low to mid 90s fastball and a sharp slider. He has played most of this summer with the Twins AAA affiliate but did have one major league relief appearance back in May, tossing three perfect innings.
