2007 CFL All-Stars Unveiled

Published on November 23, 2007 under Canadian Football League (CFL) News Release

Toronto, ON (November 23, 2007) - The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today the 2007 CFL All-Stars. The All-Stars were selected by 49 voting members, including representation from the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), the eight CFL head coaches and fans from across the country. The FRC voting panel consists of representation from each CFL market and a national chapter.

For this final ballot, voters were asked to select players from the League whom they believed to excel at their position for the duration of the 2007 CFL regular season.

Fans, for the first time in CFL history, were given the opportunity to vote for the All-Stars through the Future Shop CFL All-Star Balloting program introduced earlier this year. Fan votes are weighted to be 25% of the total vote and the FRC and head coaches votes are the remaining 75%.

Through the Future Shop CFL All-Star Balloting program, 671,458 player selections were cast by fans across the country.

Below are the final results.
