Chiefs Host Bradley in Exhibition Tuesday April 4th
The Peoria Chiefs and Bradley University have announced that the Chiefs will play the Braves in an exhibition game at O'Brien Field at 6:00 pm on Tuesday April 4th. All tickets will be general admission seating at $5.00 per ticket with all proceeds benefiting the George P. Shadid Jr. Scholarship Fund at Bradley. Bradley students get in free with a valid BU ID card. Tickets are currently available at the O'Brien Field Box Office or by calling 309-680-4008. (More Information)
Chiefs Announce 2006 Roster
The Chicago Cubs have announced the 25 players who will comprise Manager Jody Davis' 2006 Opening Day roster for the Peoria Chiefs. Among the returning Chiefs are starting pitchers Mike Billek and Jesse Estrada along with first baseman Ryan Norwood who was injured last season right before the season began. Top Cubs prospects joining the Chiefs in 2006 include starting pitcher Donald Veal, catcher Mark Reed, shortstop Dylan Johnston, and outfielder Davy Gregg.
