2005 League Champions Hold Open Tryouts

The 2005 United Soccer Leagues First Division Champion Seattle Sounders today announced two open tryout dates for 2006. Players have the option of attending the first session on February 11th & 12th or the second session on March 25th & 26th - PARTICIPANTS DO NOT NEED TO ATTEND BOTH.

Tryout 1:

Saturday, February 11, 2006 Sunday, February 12, 2006 Starfire Sports Complex, Field 3, 2:00 - 5:00 pm Tryout # 2

Saturday, March 25, 2006 Sunday, March 26, 2006 Starfire Sports Complex, Fields 3 & 4, 3:00 - 6:00 pm Players interested in participating in the Sounders open tryouts MUST register online at www.seattlesounders.net. The cost to register is $75. Deadlines for online registration - Session 1: February 10th at 12pm. Session 2: March 24th at 12pm.

Players will be allowed to register on the first day of tryouts however the cost increases to $90. ONLY CASH will be accepted at tryout site.

All participating players must send a soccer resume to vincej@seattlesounders.net.

Players need to bring their own soccer equipment, including turf shoes, jogging shoes, shin guards and other soccer apparel. The Sounders will provide ice, water and medical supervision.

Seattle Sounder coaches and players will be on site to lead tryouts and evaluate talent. Participation at tryouts does not guarantee a roster spot, nor are there a set number of roster spots available.

For players traveling from out of town, there are several hotels near the Starfire Sports Complex.
