2005 Coaches Named

Let me first inform you of our coaching changes. Former Raptors Skipper Travis Barbary has been assigned as Manager of the Columbus Catfish of the South Atlantic League. Former Pitchin Coach Tim Kelly will be a full time Area Scout for the Dodgers. Hitting Coach Mac Singleton has been assigned to work for the GCL Dodgers in Vero Beach. So, our new Skipper for 2005 will be Juan Bustabad. "Busty" was the hitting coach for the Raptors in '03, and last season, handled the same duties for the GCL Dodgers. We are glad to have Juan back and feel he will play a high caliber of baseball. The new Pitching Coach will be former Dodger great Bob Welch. We feel his presence will be valuable for the kids to learn from a man who actual made an impact in the Big Leagues. The Hitting Coach as of today has not yet been assigned. Strength & Conditioning Coach Rob Francis will be returning for his third season here in Ogden. The Trainer will be Joe Fox and it will be his first season in Ogden. The players will be reporting to Ogden much sooner than normal. They are scheduled to arrive June 11th, and will work out for 9 days prior to starting the season June 21st, against the Orem Owlz, formerly known as the Provo Angels.
On another note, those of you who live and work in the Ogden area may interested in a new program we have created. Charity and Non-Profit Groups may acquire Open Dated General Admission Tickets for $2.00 per tickets, and can be re-sold for $4.00 per ticket. This will allow these groups to raise money for their organization. These tickets have the home scheduled printed on the back of each ticket, and are available now. Give us a call at 801-393-2400 for more information, and to make pick up arrangements.
Also, we have an Over-Run on the All Navy Onfield New Era Game Caps. Therefore, we will offer these caps to you for the extremely low price of $6.00 per cap. We have all sizes from 6 1/2 - 7 7/8, so please indicate your size.
