
2004 WNBA MVP to be announced Friday

NEW YORK, October 6 âThe 2004 WNBA Finals tip off Friday, October 8 in Connecticut at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Sun take on the Seattle Storm. The Mohegan Sun Arena will also serve as the site of this year's Most Valuable Player announcement, which will take place prior to Game 1 at 6 p.m. In addition, the 2004 All-WNBA First and Second Teams will be announced in a special on-court presentation Friday just prior to tip-off.
Following is a complete listing of 2004 WNBA award winners and the upcoming announcement schedule:

The WNBA Finals begin exclusively on ESPN2 on Friday, October 8 at 7:30 P.M. from Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Arena as the Sun host the Seattle Storm. Game 2 will be televised on Sunday, October 10 at 7 P.M. from Key Arena with Game 3, if necessary, being shown on Tuesday, October 12 at 9 P.M. also from Key Arena.
