2004 WNBA Finals game two plays to full house

SEATTLE, October 10, 2004 – Game 2 of 2004 WNBA Finals between the Connecticut Sun and the Seattle Storm provided the stage for a sellout crowd of 17,072 at the KeyArena in Seattle.

With the torm making its first trip to the Finals, Game 2 broke the all-time record for Seattle's single-game regular and postseason attendance. This also marks the seventh highest playoff attendance figure ever in the history of the WNBA.

Four networks carried 2004 WNBA Playoffs action, which tipped-off on September 24. ABC, ESPN2, Oxygen and NBA TV provided First Round and Second Round coverage, while WNBA Finals were televised in their entirety on ESPN2. In addition, 52 telecasters will broadcast WNBA Finals programming to 188 countries in 30 languages.
