Geneva, Illinois - Lake Country DockHounds manager Ken Huckaby earned his 200th win with the 'Hounds in a comeback effort after leading for most the night, 5-4 Saturday.

After Jairus Richards hit a two-out, two-strike, three-run home run to give the Kane County Cougars its first lead of the night in the eighth inning, Kane County went to its closer, Jake Gozzo, who leads the American Association with 20 saves. Mario Feliciano led off the ninth inning with a two-strike single. Peter Zimmermann walked on four pitches, Jake Snider worked a seven-pitch walk, and then Jake Allgeyer earned his first RBI with Lake Country on a walk with two strikes to tie the game.

A double play kept the game tied and got Gozzo two outs, but a pitch in the dirt caused chaos. Snider started to come home, but Cougars' catcher Charles Mack got to the ball quickly, so Snider went back to third base. Mack threw down to third and hit Snider, sending the ball towards the Lake Country dugout and allowing the winning run to score.

Alan Carter earned his tenth save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning, closing the first one-run win for the DockHounds in exactly one month.

Marc Davis(3.72 ERA, 1-3) got a no-decision despite seven innings of one-run ball. He struck out seven, including the final three batters of his night, after starting the game with six shutout innings.

Zimmermann started the scoring with his 20th home run of the season in the second inning. He became the fifth batter in the league to reach that mark this season.

Trey Riley will get the ball Sunday afternoonwith the DockHounds going for the series.
