1500 Teddy Bears & 600 New Toys Collected
December 4, 2012 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Windsor Spitfires News Release
A huge thanks goes out to our great fans, who made a pair of recent charitable events a huge success.
Sparky's Toy Drive night on Thursday, November 29th raised $3800 and saw 600 new toys donated.
Then on Sunday, December 2nd, your generosity helped us collect 1500 teddy bears.
Both events support the fine work of the Windsor Firefighters Association Benefit Fund, which in turn helps families in need in our community.
A big thank you also goes out to Sun Life Financial for making the Teddy Bear Toss a reality this year.
