111 former D-Leaguers in NBA camps

NEW YORK, Oct. 1, 2008 - One hundred eleven players with NBA Development League experience over the last seven seasons are on 2008-09 NBA training camp rosters, including 65 who were on an NBA D-League roster during the 2007-08 season.
"It is great to see more than 100 players with NBA D-League experience currently showcasing their skills in NBA training camps," said Chris Alpert, Vice President of Basketball Operations and Player Personnel for the NBA D-League. "All of these former NBA D-League players are proving themselves to be top NBA prospects as they compete for NBA roster spots."
The Idaho Stampede and Sioux Falls Skyforce lead the way among NBA D-League teams with nine former players apiece on 2008 NBA training camp rosters, while the Iowa Energy and Tulsa 66ers each have eight former players.
The Houston Rockets top NBA teams with seven players with NBA D-League experience currently vying for roster spots.
