Montreal Impact News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced Friday that more than 10,000 tickets have already been sold for the Champions Trophy, to be played July 25, at Olympic Stadium, since sales started one week ago.
For the first time in history, this prestigious game will be presented outside of France.
"We are thrilled to see the enthusiasm this international game is generating," said Montreal Impact Executive Vice President Richard Legendre. "Seeing this interest in the event, it is encouraging to realize that the Quebec soccer community will take part in the event. This is a major competition that will allow young local soccer players to witness a never-before-seen, high level of soccer."
The 14th edition of the Champions Trophy will match up the two top French clubs: the FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who won the Ligue 1 championship, and the En Avant de Guingamp, which earned a spot by clinching the French Cup.
Several excellent tickets are still available through Admission (514-790-1245 / 1-800-361-4595 / admission.com), as well as at the ticketing offices of Olympic Stadium and Saputo Stadium. Ticket prices range between $15 and $50 (taxes included). Youth rates for spectators aged 16 and under, as well as special group rates are also offered.
