Manchester, New Hampshire - December 5, 2007 - Days after suffering their first loss, an overtime defeat in New Hampshire to the Manchester Millrats, the Vermont Frost Heaves will host a rematch in the Barre Auditorium that will be Webcast LIVE and FREE on vermontfrostheaves.com. A link will also be located on www.manchestermillrats.com.
In the first ABA Power Rankings, released yesterday, the Manchester Millrats grabbed the No. 1 ranking, with the Frost Heaves just behind at No. 2.
Fans worldwide can see the many talents of stars such as Rob Sanders, Ismael Caro, Anthony Anderson or Souleymane Wane (Manchester), and Issa Konare, Terrence Green, or Dwayne Lee (Vermont) by simply clicking on the PlayOn! banner on the home page of www.vermontfrostheaves.com beginining at 7:00 pm EST. Archived rebroadcasts of this and all Vermont home games are also available on demand.
Thursday will be M&M Beverage Center Presents Christmas for Kids Night at the Aud, with all fans encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy. The Barre Juvenille Officers' Association will collect and distribute the toys to deserving kids.
The Manchester Millrats also host doubleheader ABA action this weekend at the Fieldhouse on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), as the Boston Blizzard visit on Saturday at 7:05 pm and Bobby Miller and the Montreal Royal visit on Sunday at 4:35 pm.
