Harrisburg Stampede News Release

HARRISBURG, PA (Dec 6, 2013) - The Harrisburg Stampede of the Professional Indoor Football League, is accustomed to delivering championship caliber football and family friendly entertainment to fans of all ages. But during this holiday season, your Stampede football team has another type of delivery in mind: toys for our inner-city youth during the Camp Curtin YMCA's annual Night Out With Santa.

The Camp Curtin YMCA is a community cornerstone in uptown Harrisburg and positively impacts the lives of thousands of children and families annually. "Our mission is to uplift and empower our kids to become excellent adults," says Executive Director, Jamien Harvey. "To realize this mission, we have activated programs that include fitness, health, enrichment, youth sports, education and leadership. Community partnerships make it work and we're excited to have the Harrisburg Stampede as a new partner. The donation of toys for the Night Out with Santa was an amazing gift and we look forward to working together in the future."

Night Out With Santa takes place tonight at the YMCA Camp Curtin Branch, located at 2135 N. Sixth Street, Harrisburg 17110. The Christmas party will include dinner, along with many fun activities for the entire family. Activities include games, arts & crafts and family photos. Santa will be in attendance and will be handing out the toys to children.
