Admirals to Sign Brandon Phillips

June 25, 2019 - The Admirals announced on Tuesday their intention to sign long time major leaguer Brandon Phillips. The 17-year MLB veteran is the older brother of Vallejo manager P.J. Phillips. Phillips last played in the big leagues in 2018 for the World Champion Boston Red Sox. Phillips is expected to join the Admirals on Thursday for their game in Sonoma. Gingras Hot Early

June 18, 2019 - New Admirals catcher Ricky Gingras is hot in the early going, hitting .290 with two home runs and seven RBI in the first two weeks of the Pacific Association season. Gingras (pronounced JING-gras) is 28, originally from Hemet. He attended Point Loma Nazarene University and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 18th round of the 2012 MLB draft. June 7, 2019 - The Vallejo Admirals are hosting Italian Heritage Night tonight at Wilson Park. Come on out to see your Vallejo Admirals take on the Sonoma Stompers at 6:35 p.m. The Admirals will be looking to avenge a 3-1 loss on Wednesday at Sonoma. Admirals Get First Win

June 4, 2019 - Nick Akins Sr., Chevy Clarke and Zach Files each hit their first home runs of the season as the Vallejo Admirals finally broke out for their first win of the season, beating San Rafael on Sunday at Wilson Park, 9-0. Carl Brice picked up his first win of the year, allowing just two hits in 5 2/3 innings. Brice combined with three other Admirals pitchers on a two-hit shutout of the Pacifics.
