November 6, 2025 - Blue Crabs Andrew Thurman came into the 2025 season having not thrown a professional pitch since 2017 with the Single-A and Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers Organization and had a season to remember. Thurman pitched every fifth day, tying the league high in starts with 25, finished seventh in ERA with a 4.94, and fourth in strikeouts with 128 among ALPB pitchers. October 31, 2025 - Blue Crabs Utility player Jackson Loftin became the first player in league history to accomplish a 20-home run, and 60 stolen base season, as he swiped third base in Lexington during the season's final game. Former Blue Crab Troy Snitker Reportedly Hired as Mets Major League Hitting Coach

October 29, 2025 - According to multiple reports, the New York Mets have hired former Blue Crabs catcher, Troy Snitker, as their new major league hitting coach. Snitker is also the son of Atlanta Braves World Series winning manager Brian Snitker. Snitker was drafted by the Braves in the 19th round of the 2011 draft, working his way up to High-A in 2012.
