Wheat Kings Bounce Back with Best Offensive Outing of Season against Broncos
November 5, 2025 - Just one game after their offense hit something of a wall against the Calgary Hitmen, the Wheat Kings did a lot more than just bounce back. They positively exploded against the Swift Current Broncos.
Jaxon Jacobson, Joby Baumuller, and Cameron Allard all scored twice, and Carter Klippenstein, Nicholas Johnson and Jimmy Egan scored once each. Filip Ruzicka made 27 saves in the lopsided 9-4 win.

Wheat Kings Forward Surkan Named Sandman WHL Rookie of the Month for September / October
November 4, 2025 - Calgary, Alta. - The Western Hockey League announced today Brandon Wheat Kings forward Chase Surkan has been Sandman WHL Rookie of the Month for September / October.
Surkan, a 16-year-old product of Regina, Sask., recorded 19 points (12G-7A) and a plus-1 rating in 11 games during the combined months of September and October. His 12 goals were tied for second among all WHL skaters and led all WHL rookies.

Hitmen Stifle Wheat Kings to End Winning Streak
November 2, 2025 - After an incredible offensive run, the Wheat Kings suddenly ran up against a defensive structure they couldn't break through against the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday, November 2.
Gunnar Gleasman scored and Jayden Kraus was strong with 35 saves on 38 shots but it wasn't enough as the Hitmen won 3-1. The Wheat Kings managed just ten shots on goal until the final half the third period, whereupon they equalled their game-long total in just under ten minutes.

Gavin's Hat Trick Leads Wheat Kings Past Pats
November 1, 2025 - Twice the Wheat Kings fell down by multiple goals against the Regina Pats before the second period was even halfway over. They erased both deficits, and by the time the game was over they were the ones with a multi-goal lead.
Jordan Gavin finished with a hat trick and two assists, and Gio Pantelas, Caleb Hadland, Brady Turko, Nicholas Johnson, and Max Lavoie all scored as the Wheat Kings beat the Pats 8-5. Jayden Kraus came in in relief and received credit for the win.
