September 5, 2025 - WASHINGTON, PA - Gateway took game 2 of the Wild Card Series to sweep Washington out of the postseason Friday night in Washington. A great crowd was on hand, and a lively bunch at that at the beginning of the night, to see it, the sign of playoff baseball in the Pittsburgh and Washington areas. September 3, 2025 - SAUGET, Il. - The Washington Wild Things opened up postseason play by battling until the end but a ninth-inning comeback fell 180-feet short in a Game 1 loss against the Gateway Grizzlies Wednesday night by a final score of 6-5. DiValerio Tabbed FL Pitcher of the Week

September 2, 2025 - WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Frontier League has selected Jordan DiValerio as Frontier League Pitcher of the Week for the final week of the 2025 regular season. DiValerio was Pitcher of the Week following his nine-inning shutout of Sussex County in 2024 and becomes the first Wild Things hurler to be awarded the honor in 2025.
