Laketown Squadron Announce Former Pelicans Assistant Brandon Demas as Head Coach
June 15, 2026 - KENNER, La. - The Laketown Squadron, NBA G League affiliate of the New Orleans Pelicans, today named Brandon Demas as the team's head coach.
Demas has steadily risen through the Pelicans organization, serving in a variety of roles over the past 14 seasons. Prior to joining the Squadron, the first-time head coach spent two seasons as an assistant coach (2024-26) and two seasons as the team's two-way coach (2022-24). June 14, 2026 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala -- After trailing 6-0 early in the game, the Birmingham Barons lost 6-5 to the Biloxi Shuckers before 2,660 at Regions Field on Sunday. Home runs by Dylan Campbell and Grant Magill put the Barons back in the game, but fell one run short.

June 12, 2026 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala -- The Birmingham Barons walk-off the Biloxi Shuckers 3-2 as Anthony DePino goes deep with the game-winning home run before 4,080 at Regions Field on Friday night. With the Shuckers tying the game at 2-2 in the top of the ninth, the Barons get the big DePino home run for the win. The Barons have not won three in a row and lead the series 3-2 against Biloxi on this homestand.

June 11, 2026 - BIRMINGHAM, Ala - The Birmingham Barons win 8-0 and shutout the Biloxi Shuckers before 4,370 at Regions Field on Thursday night. Jacob Burke and Anthony DePino hit three-run home runs in the win and even the series at 2-2 with the Shuckers. This is the third shutout for the Barons this season.
