Tides to Do Field Makeover at Azalea Little League

March 6, 2026 - The Norfolk Tides today announced their grounds crew and front office staff will travel to Azalea Little League to makeover their baseball field. The winner of the Field Makeover Contest was selected by a panel of sports community members that read all stories in each application. The Tides will head to the field on Thursday, March 12, and will be there from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The renovations will include regrading the field, leveling the field and then topping it with turface. Tides Coaching Staff Announced for 2026 Season

February 3, 2026 - The Norfolk Tides and Baltimore Orioles today announced Norfolk's field staff for the 2026 season. Tim Federowicz returns as manager, along with Fundamentals Coach Felipe Rojas and Development Coach Billy Facteau. Hampton Roads native and Old Dominion alumnus Jeff Ware joins as Pitching Coach, while Rick Strickland is added as Hitting Coach. Tides Announce 2026 Promotional Schedule

February 2, 2026 - The Norfolk Tides today announced the 2026 promotional schedule. Individual game tickets are currently on sale online at NorfolkTides.com or TicketMaster.com. On Monday, March 2 at 10 am, fans will be able to purchase tickets in person at the Harbor Park Box Office. The 2026 promotional schedule features 19 postgame fireworks shows, including six Tuesday Night Takeover Fireworks every Tuesday from June through August. Tides Open Application Period for Youth Field Makeover Project

January 13, 2026 - The Norfolk Tides today announced the return of the Youth Field Makeover Project. The application process begins today and organizations must apply by February 6 to be considered for the project. To submit, please send one photo and a one-paragraph description about your field in an email to Heather McKeating at hmckeating@norfolktides.com.
