Former Logger, AAA Pitching Coach Justin Ramsey Returning to Manager Loggers After Sciturro Receives Promotion
March 9, 2026 - LA CROSSE, WIS. - The Northwoods League is a league of development and opportunity for not just players, but coaches as well. Following his first stint in La Crosse last summer, Dominic Sciturro garnered an opportunity to join the University of Illinois-Chicago staff as their director of player development in the fall of 2025. March 9, 2026 - The AppleSox organization announced Monday the addition of three players to the 2026 roster. Returning arms Mitch Haythorn, Dylan Schlenger, and Easton Brooks will join this summer's team. This week's roster additions come from UNC (N. Colorado), Eastern Illinois, and Utah Tech.

Faith Guides Pitcher Hudson Lance as he Returns for 2026
March 6, 2026 - Victoria, BC - As a devout Christian and a business student, athlete and leadership intern at Coastal Carolina University, Hudson Lance already walks the road less travelled.
And now his path is even more remote.
A middle-inning reliever last summer with the 'Cats, Lance has walked away from Division One baseball this season to follow the Lord.

20 Appalachian League Alumni on New Top 30 Prospects Lists
March 6, 2026 - CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Twenty Appalachian League alumni appear on MLB Pipeline's new 2026 team Top 30 Prospects lists.
Kaelen Culpepper (Bluefield '22) is the Appy League's highest ranked prospect at No. 52 on MLB Pipeline's new Top 100 Prospects list and No. 2 on the Minnesota Twins Top 30 list. 2021 Appy League Pitcher of the Year, Bryce Mayer (Greeneville '21), is the No. 6 Houston Astros prospect. Braden Nett (Greeneville '21), who was added to the Athletics' 40-man roster in November, is the Athletics' No. 6 prospect.
