August 26, 2025 - VICTORIA, BC - With the recent news that 2024 HarbourCat Lucas Ramirez had been promoted to "High A" ball in the Los Angeles Angels organization, we felt it was time to give a quick run down on some of our former HarbourCats and where they are now in their pro careers.
In total, 32 former players were active in affiliated professional baseball in 2025, from Rookie ball right up to the MLB level.

August 22, 2025 - Friday, Commissioner Rob Neyer announced Brock Ketelsen is the West Coast League's 2025 Top Prospect.
Ketelsen, who will enroll at Stanford this fall, anchors the WCL's final spotlight list of the season.
An outfielder/pitcher for the Corvallis Knights, Ketelsen batted .328 with 10 extra-base hits, 27 RBI, 48 runs and a League best 35 stolen bases. He posted a .467 on-base percentage and .925 OPS. August 21, 2025 - West Coast League Commissioner Rob Neyer announced the League's Executive of the Year, Broadcaster of the Year and Scorekeeper of the Year, Thursday.
The WCL Board of Directors voted Luke Emanuel, the owner and president of Salem's Marion Berries, as the Executive of the Year

August 20, 2025 - Wednesday afternoon, West Coast League Commissioner Rob Neyer announced the circuit's Coach of the Year, Umpire of the Year and Jim Dietz Team Sportsmanship Award.
Ed Knaggs earns this year's Coach of the Year honor. He led the Bellingham Bells to the second WCL championship in team history. The Bells captured the North Division first half crown and posted a 33-21 record in the regular season.
