Swamp Rabbits Announce First-Ever Education Day Game

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack, are excited to announce the organization's first-ever Education Day game.
Schools are invited to spend the morning at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena as the Swamp Rabbits host the Orlando Solar Bears on Thursday, Nov. 3rd at 10:30 a.m. In addition to an action packed hockey game, students will be able to participate in on-ice activities as well as watch demonstrations and experiments from the Roper Mountain Science Center, The Greenville Zoo, The Children's Museum of the Upstate, and Bricks 4 Kidz. Students and teachers will also receive hockey related curriculum covering math, science, geography and much more.
"Hosting an Education Day game fits very nicely with our mission to be an integrated, contributing member of the community," Swamp Rabbits President, Chris Lewis said. Lewis continued, "We have developed tremendous relationships with many of the schools in the Upstate and this game provides a platform that enables increased activation with the schools as well as a means for introducing new fans to the game."
While this game is geared toward school groups, the general public and ticket holders are welcome to attend and enjoy the events of the day as well. Season ticket holders who are unable to attend the morning game will receive an additional FLEX ticket in their ticket book to be used at any other regular season home game.
