
Sky Waives Guards Jacki Gemelos and Jordan Jones

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky has waived guards Jacki Gemelos and Jordan Jones following the conclusion of its 2016 preseason schedule. Gemelos averaged 16.7 minutes per game and 5.0 points per game in three preseason appearances for the Sky after completing her first full WNBA season in Chicago in 2015.
Jordan Jones was the Sky's 34th overall selection in the 2016 WNBA Draft presented by State Farm. The 5-foot-6 guard from Texas A&M University averaged 13.0 minutes and 3.0 points per game in three preseason appearances.
The Sky's roster will be finalized to 12 players on May 12 prior to the Sky opening the 2016 regular season Allstate Arena on May 14th against the Connecticut Sun. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT. To purchase tickets call 866.SKY.WNBA or visit CHICAGOSKY.NET.
