May 21, 2018 - Champions Indoor Football (CIF)
Texas Revolution News Release

FRISCO - In back-to-back weeks, the Texas Revolution have knocked up the top two teams in the Southern Conference of Champions Indoor Football in convincing fashion, the latter a thrashing of the Duke City Gladiators Saturday night at the Dr Pepper Arena, 62-37.

The victory improves Texas to 4-5, a half-game ahead of the Wichita Force for the third guaranteed spot in the CIF playoffs with three games to go.

Wide receiver Clinton Solomon had his strongest performance of the season, hauling in 10 receptions for 139 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback Andrew Jackson threw seven touchdowns and no interceptions for 194 yards.

Coming into the game, Duke City had five more sacks than any other team in the league, 24. The Gladiators had just one in the third meeting between the two powerhouses.

On April 14, Duke City beat Texas 64-37. How quickly fortunes can change in indoor football.
