
Rapid City Bombshells Dance Team Set To Take Center Stage

Rapid City, SD - The Rapid City Bombshells Dance Team, professional dance team for the Rapid City Flying Aces of the National Indoor Football League, has chosen 17 dancers to be a part of their 2006 squad. The Bombshells, which perform at each of the Rapid City Flying Ace's home games at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center, will make their 2006 season debut at the home opener is against the Big Sky Thunder of Bozeman, MT on March 11 at 7:05 p.m.
The Bombshells will be unveiling their latest calendar shot by Aurora Studios at the lobby of the Ramkota Hotel this Friday, March 3 from 6:30-7:00pm. The cheerleaders will be in attendance and invite all to be part of the exciting event.
Breawna Nylen is returning as director and coach of the Rapid City Bombshells Dance Team. A local choreographer, Breawna's routines are primarily influenced by the training of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. Her focus for this season is to create a performance that is more than simply dancing, but is a real show.
"We have a talented group of girls on the squad," said Nylen. "That, mixed with high energy dancing should make for a great show that really motivates the crowd," she added.
Dance Team Liaison Trish Mancini believes the presence of the Rapid City Bombshells Dance Team is a vital part of the experience at home games. "Our aim is to provide the best sports entertainment in the Black Hills Region and the Rapid City Bombshells Dance Team is part of that entertainment," said Mancini. "We have put together a top-caliber squad for this season. The tryouts were incredibly competitive and we were able to assemble a group of exceptionally talented and attractive dancers to represent the Flying Aces," she added.
The new members of the Bombshells were chosen out of 30 girls that tried out during open auditions held in early January at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
