Outlaws Release Dates For Potential Home Playoff Dates

Today, the Billings Outlaws announced the dates for their four potential 2010 Indoor Football League Playoff games.

The team is also that season-ticket holders can now reserve their seats for the playoffs at the Billings Outlaws SportsPlex

Under this year's IFL playoff format, every team that qualifies for the playoffs will play in the first round, a change from last season when only 12 teams qualified for the playoffs, with the top two teams in each conference earning a first-round bye.

This season, 16 teams will vie for the 2010 United Bowl with the top four teams in each conference hosting first-round playoff games.

After clinching the Pacific Division title on May 29th with a 53-47 win over the Kent Predators, the Outlaws guaranteed at least a pair of home playoff games on June 27th at 2 p.m. and July 3rd also at 2 p.m.

The Outlaws are currently tied with the Amarillo Venom for the top spot in the Intense Conference and continue their race for home-field advantage.

Both teams share a 10-2 record and Amarillo holds a nine point margin in the point-differential category, one of the many tie-breakers in the Indoor Football League.

The league championship, which Billings won last season in front of a home crowd of 8,000+ rabid fans, is scheduled for July 17th.

Intense Conference Quarterfinals: Sunday June 27th (2:00 p.m.)

Intense Conference Semifinals: Saturday July 3rd (2:00 p.m.)

Intense Conference Championship: Saturday July 10th (7:00 p.m.)

2010 Indoor Football League Championship: Saturday, July 17 (7:00 p.m.)
