
Mad Ants and Heartland Sings Aim to Set Guinness World Record

FORT WAYNE, IN - The 2016-2017 season marks the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, presented by Lutheran Health Network, 10-year anniversary. Heartland Sings in collaboration with the Allen County Indiana Bicentennial Task Force and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants will celebrate Indiana's statehood via Hoosiers in Harmony on December 10th at 7:00 p.m. EST.
Heartland Sings, in partnership with the Mad Ants will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most people singing on a live radio broadcast. The song that will be sung to break the record is "Back Home Again in Indiana" at halftime of the basketball game.
The Mad Ants are offering special ticket discounts for music classes, bands, and groups that would like to attend and help break the record. Fans can contact a Mad Ants representative at 260-469-HOOP for more ticket information.
After the game, the Heartland Vocal Artists will perform music by native Indiana composers, musicians, and favorite holiday songs; including Hoagy Carmichael, Michael Jackson, and John Cougar Mellencamp to complete the bicentennial celebration.
