
Legends Find Victory with Fourth Quarter Fire

FRISCO, TX (Dec. 16, 2017) - The Texas Legends (9-9) swept through their homestand with a 119-107 win over the Northern Arizona Suns (7-10) Saturday night at Dr Pepper Arena.
After 14 lead changes, Texas took the edge midway through the third quarter and held on through the final buzzer. Northern Arizona was within two points to begin the fourth and stayed within two baskets until the 10 minute mark. Texas turned it on, streaking through a 19-3 run to pull out of reach and lock in the victory. Justin Dentmon went 7-of-9 and 3-of-4 outside to lead the fourth quarter efforts with 18 points.
The Legends' starting lineup accounted for 107 of the night's 119 points with all five hitting the double-digit mark. Dentmon, the G League's leading scorer, owned his title with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals on the night. Kyle Collinsworth narrowly missed his fifth straight double-double hitting a season-high 24 points and 9 rebounds, and Jameel Warney matched his previous night's board performance with 15 to go along with 23 points, 3 blocked shots.
Josh Gray led the Suns in scoring with 19 off the bench while Alec Peters (17 points, 15 rebounds) and Mike Young (15 points, 11 rebounds) each added double-doubles.
