
Kurtiss Riggs Show on KWSN Tonight

The United Bowl Re-Cap Edition of The Kurtiss Riggs Show will be broadcast LIVE tonight from 5:30 to 6:45 PM on 1230 AM KWSN. The show is also broadcast online at www.kwsn.com. The show will focus on the Storm?s dramatic United Bowl victory over the Bloomington Extreme. The game was decided on the last play of the game as Bloomington fell 20 yards short of the game winning touchdown on the final play. The Storm won their fourth consecutive United Bowl by a score of 40-35.
Storm Head Coach Kurtiss Riggs and ?The Voice of the Storm? Rich Roste will review the United Bowl victory and take a look toward the National Indoor Bowl, which will be played in Sioux Falls on August 2. The National Indoor Bowl will feature the Storm vs. the winner of the Intense Football League title.
Joining Riggs on the program will be offensive lineman Ya?Tarrie Brown and defensive lineman Rachman Crable. Brown just completed his second season with the Storm and has started at the Center position both seasons. Brown was named to the 2007 UIF All-Star team and was an alternate for the 2008 All-Star team. The Storm offensive line allowed only eight sacks during the 2008 regular season and helped the Storm rank #2 in scoring offense averaging 45.1 points per game.
Crable is finishing his first season with the Storm and his seventh season of indoor football. The Storm defense set a United Bowl record for least points allowed by only giving up 35 points to the Extreme.
Tickets are still available for the National Indoor Bowl and can be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling TicketMaster at 334-8181. Tickets can also be purchased at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office. The game is set for a 7:05 PM kickoff on August 2 at the Sioux Falls Arena.
