
Knights High School Fundraiser

MACON, Ga. - The Macon Knights Front Office announced today that there are seven high schools signed up for the Knights new fundraiser for the 2006 season. The seven high schools participating are, Central, Northeast, Southwest and Westside from Bibb County, also participating is Crawford County, Mary Persons and Windsor Academy.
The fundraiser is set up so the students in the seven high schools sell tickets to Knights games and receive some of the profits from those tickets sold. The top-selling school will be awarded a computer at halftime of the Macon Knights game on Saturday, April 8th, which is also "School Spirit Knight" and the 2006 Home Opener.
There is also another competition going on between the clubs and organizations in the high schools. The top-selling club/organization will receive a cash donation plus they will have bragging rights for a whole year because they will receive a trophy at halftime as well.
"This fundraiser is great for bettering the educational environment in Bibb and the surrounding Counties. Hopefully this program will become bigger each year as other schools see the great opportunities this fundraiser presents" said Will Carter Ticket Operations Manager for the Macon Knights.
This fundraiser is not just available to the high schools as there are already a few youth football and baseball teams involved in this fundraiser as well. If your club or organization is interested in this fundraiser and would like more information contact Will Carter at (478) 314-3000.
