HOFFMAN ESTATES - The Chicago Slaughter announced their biggest signing of the offseason on Friday, adding former University of Illinois standout quarterback Juice Williams to the roster for the 2012 season. Williams joined the team in June of last season. He passed for 250 yards and 6 TDs while rushing for 120 yards and 5 TDs in just 2 games.
While at the University of Illinois from 2007-2010, Williams led the Fighting Illini to their first Rose Bowl appearance since 1984 and their first win over a #1 ranked team since 1956. Williams passed for over 8,000 yards and 56 TDs which ranks him second all time in Fighting Illini history. He also rushed for over 2,500 yards and 18 TDs. He set the record for most starts by a quarterback and his yardage totals combined rank him #1 in all time offense in University of Illinois history.
