Jake McSurley Named Best Two-Way Player of Week Six

Cincinnati, OH-The Cincinnati Swarm of arenafootball2 are proud to announce that Clinton-Massie Junior Jake McSurley has been named the best two-way high school player in the greater Cincinnati area for Week Six.

McSurley led the Falcons to a 25-20 win over Batavia. McSurley scored three rushing touchdowns on the night while carrying for 135 yards. He also recovered a fumble on defense. McSurley’s performance helped Clinton-Massie preserve their perfect season (6-0).

“He’s been working really hard,” said Clinton-Massie coach Dan McSurley. “He’s a three sport athlete-he also wrestles and runs track. He’s a big part of our offense. He contributes on both sides of the ball.

The Swarm will be honoring one player each week throughout the season as the best two-way player in the greater Cincinnati area. The honorees will be invited to attend a Swarm game next season where they will be honored in an on-field ceremony.
