Gabe York's 10 Three-Pointers Lead BayHawks to Victory

Erie, PA- The Erie BayHawks (3-9) handily defeated the Los Angeles D-Fenders (9-4) tonight at Erie Insurance Arena, 118-99.

The BayHawks used a 16-2 run in the second quarter to jump out to an 18-point lead when Los Angeles hit back-to-back three pointers midway through the frame. Erie responded with 12 straight points to extend their lead to 23. The BayHawks took a 69-42 lead into half behind 60% shooting from the field and from three.

Los Angeles went on a 6-0 run at the end of the third quarter to bring the score within 20 but Erie would overtake the 20-point mark on a long-range three-pointer from Gabe York as the buzzer expired on the third quarter. With a three early in the fourth quarter, York set the franchise record for three-pointers in a game with 10.

The BayHawks led by as many as 34 while shooting 55% from the field, 50% from three, and 82% from the free throw line on the game. The 118 points are a season-high for the team.

York had a game-high 38 on 12-of-19 shooting from the field (10-of-13 from three-point range) for the BayHawks. TJ Price added 21 points, seven assists, and five rebounds. Alex Davis notched his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Ramon Galloway added 18 points.

Los Angeles was paced by 23 from David Nwaba on 10-of-11 shooting from the field. Vander Blue had 22 points and Travis Wear added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
